About Us
Scott Beffert is the master craftsman behind Spirit Building Group. He has over 25 years of experience as a general contractor in every aspect of building from demolition, kitchen and bathroom remodeling to new home builds. Unlike most general contractors, Scott personally has in-depth knowledge of, and proficiency in, each sub set of construction from A-Z. Scott also has a deep working knowledge of electrical, plumbing and architecture and how they connect to the entire project. Therefore, Scott has a keen eye to insure that all work is safe, sound and up to code. He takes great pride in his work and has the rare ability to personally step in at any phase. Additionally, Spirit Building Group understands that your home is your castle and requires all team members to be respectful to you and your home.
Married to Wendy, Scott is a rock solid family man and proud father of two amazing sons. Scott will work closely with you or your interior designer to ensure that each project beautifully reflects your unique style, personality and functional requirements. Scott's top notch skills and personal commitment to customer satisfaction makes Spirit Building Group the best choice for all your construction needs in the greater Sanibel, Naples and Fort Myers area.

Integrity is the core value upon which rock solid trust is built, both with our customers and in our personal lives.
In practical terms, it means doing what's right when nobody is watching!

At the end of the day, integrity allows for a restful sleep and in the morning, the ability to look in the mirror and feel good about that reflection.
Integrity

Precision
Measure twice, cut once. At Spirit Building Group Fort Myers we honor the role precision plays in creating beautiful and functional interiors that stand the test of time. More importantly, is our deep understanding and application of the calculations, architecture, design and materials needed to produce this precision.
Scott is a licensed building contractor in Florida, which is a rare distinction. Did you know that only 50% of prospective contractors who attempt to gain licensure actually pass the tests?
Scott has 25 years of experience in translating his knowledge into exceptional craftsmanship.

Respect
Your home is your castle and your family is your treasure. These are the guiding principles for the way we conduct business while working in your home.

Construction is a noisy, messy business and life is different for you when people are coming and going in what's usually your private space!

Spirit Building Group uses industrial vacuuming techniques whenever feasible to reduce dust and is mindful of tidying up at the end of the day. To mitigate noise we keep conversations focused on the work at hand.
Here's what many of our customers have said about some previous contractors....
